| News Post: Friday, June 20, 2008 : Recruiting | By Haurun |
|
We have open recruitment for all classes and spec's and are looking for more players who share our ideas and goals.
We are looking into starting a 2nd Kara run in the future and are looking for Tanks and Healers to help make that happen. We are a casual family guild that likes to raid. We take pride in our accomplishments, big and small; we play to have fun and to challenge ourselves. Our Raid times are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10pm till usually no later than 1am. We also have a PvP/Arena night on Wednesdays. So if you are looking for a casual guild with raiding and you think Na Koa might be the home for you please fill out an Online Application and read the Guild Charter and Prospective Recruits, all found on the left of this page. If you have any questions feel free to contact an officer in-game. *This message has been brought to you by your friendly neighborhood tree.

| News Post: Tuesday, March 25, 2008 : 2.4 is LIVE!!! | By iaedyene |
|
Well was a great surprise to see that today is THE patch day! Yes that also means this week is the week of the "15 minutes til server restart" to fix all the crap they will break today.
I can't wait to explore the new dungeons. The patch notes for 2.4 can be found here. Also a HUGE WTG to everyone of Na Koa for taking down the Prince the last two weeks. I think this could mean that Karazhan is now officially on farm!

| News Post: Monday, March 3, 2008 : Karazhan caceled week of March 4th. | By iaedyene |
|
Due to some recent events in Karazhan it seems that it would do the guild good to take a little break and skip this week. Play some alts, help each other with quests, grind out some rep. Go goof off. Go work on getting more badges for the 2.4 expansion.
And refocus - because next week when we do Kara the goofing off and excess afking will not be tolerated. Respect your fellow guildies and their time that they set aside to help run things like Kara. For some this is giving up sleep to stay up late to help; or increasing wife agro for not spending quality wife/family time; for others this is giving our our entire evening to help. We don't mind doing it if we can see the reward for doing this. However ending a 3 hour night without a single boss done is very defeating and frustrating. So relax and have fun this week but realize that it takes all 10 raid members to accomplish Karazhan and if you're not willing to give it your all, maybe it's best for the guild if you take a break until you are. |

| News Post: Thursday, February 28, 2008 : Looking for new officers! | By iaedyene |
|
The time has come for me to promote a few folks into the council. Before I have always just hand picked folks and sometimes it’s proven to be a great decision. Sometimes it has proven to not be very beneficial to the guild. They wear the title but don’t do much to lead or contribute.
So this time I decided to try an open recruitment and that folks that really want to be part of the council to help make Na Koa the best darn guild possible can throw their name into the hat. I will be appointing probably one or two officers and picking one or two from the folks that are interested. If you are interested, I ask that you write me a little write up as to why you feel you’d be a great addition to the council and what you can bring to the council. Also include some suggestions/ideas you have with keeping the ideas and spirit that Na Koa has been built upon. Please email me your write up to my email at iaedyene at yahoo.com. I will be accepting considerations until the 6th March, 2008. At that time I’d like to announce my decision and announce our promotions by next weekend.

| News Post: Tuesday, February 26, 2008 : Na Koa CLEARS Karazhan! | By iaedyene |
|
It is with great pride that I am able to proudly say that Na Koa has completely cleared Karazhan!!! Not a single boss was left up (well minus the animal "boss" but he doesn't count).
It only took us 3 nights of raiding to complete it. Our next goal is to work on timing and get it down to 2 nights! I am extremely proud of everyone and hope that someone got a picture of it so that we can post! Way to go everyone!! Let's do this again this week! Also we are going to be changing the order of our kills to see if this helps speed things up. This also helps with the need for having 2 tanks for really the first night. 1st night, hit Attunmen, Moroes, Opera and Curator. 2nd night, Maiden without all the trash pulls, Aran and Chess 3rd night, Prince and/or optional bosses

| News Post: Thursday, February 14, 2008 : In honor of Valentine's Day | By iaedyene |
|
I looked around and tried to find a cute love story and this one was prob the funniest one I saw, besides the Internet is for Porn one but that's not very romantic. So I present to you a cute movie between a feral druid and a holy pally. It's not in focus but the script is funny. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

| News Post: Friday, February 8, 2008 : A few changes and updates | By iaedyene |
|
Just wanted to let folks know of a couple changes I just did.
1. Added our ventrilo to the site. You can see in the lower left hand corner (or scroll down some) that it shows who's currently online. I think this will help encourage folks to use vent more. 2. Raid sign ups. I had said before that sign ups would close 1 day before the run, however I found that it also closed me out of being able to approve folks so that wasn't very productive - so I have changed it so that you can sign up all the way until start time. If the spots are full for your spec, you will be on the waiting list. We will give confirmed members 10 minutes to get on after the set start time. After the 10 minutes we will give the spots to the wait listed members or open invites within the guild, then to outside sources. 3. For folks with member rank and higher, can now see a "Guild Application" under the "Menu" menu. Please check there regularly to see if we have any new members. You can read the apps and reply to their threads with any comments you may have. You also have the option to vote on their membership. I really would like to encourage everyone to start using this and help us really find folks that are a good match for Na Koa. Recruits and applicants can not see the feedback and will be removed before they have access. 4. I moved the "Talk to Us" to the right hand side of the page. Give us a shout out! Tonight we downed Horseman, Moroes, the Maiden, AND Romulo and Julianne. Tomorrow: Curator, Aran, and Chess. Watch out Karazhan! Na Koa's on the war path!
